I was eighteen years old on a dealer lot with no connections, no degree, and no fallback. My mother raised three of us on an income that never left room for error. I was the oldest. The safety net was me.
So I watched. I listened. I studied every closer, every finance manager, every GM who moved different than the rest. I learned that the gap between people who talk and people who build is not talent — it is the willingness to be wrong long enough to figure out what is right.
By twenty-six I had done what nobody in my family had done before — not because I was smarter, but because I refused to stop when the answer was not obvious. I taught myself to code. I taught myself to sell. I taught myself to read a deal, read a room, and read the data most people ignore.
